about

I don't know how long it's been since I entered The Rift. All I know is that it's felt like years. It could be longer than that. When I entered, I saw Cancer's body trailing off towards more nothing. We're both lost now. How foolish could I be? I followed a corpse into the emptiness. Surely, I must be empty, too, now. At least, to the others. Where have you gone, stranger? This cannot be. All my siblings separated. Some dead, some lost, some hidden. Where am I drifting? A thousand deaths, a thousand lives.

Who am I?

When the void swallows me whole,
make sure the pieces
of formed stars
find a new place to shine--
Surely, my eyes will be dark,
as they always have been.
I am not darkness
nor the lack of light.
I am antimatter;
I am the kiss on your neck
long after my last breath
leaves your lips.

Yet, I forget, day by day. I forget your faces, I forget my title, I forget my name. I set myself free. I find catharsis in this void and let my rage run rampant. As it escapes me, I am new again. Set free. Tabula Rasa.

I am somewhere new. As I open my eyes, I see blue. I breathe, for I am alive.

about

An Empyreal Child Orlando, Florida

I am a mad man with a music box. Would you like to hear an endtime ballad? We can sit in silence, if you'd like. I hear the music in my head.
